HARRY Styles is set for another movie role as its announced he will appear in more Marvel movies.
A Marvel executive has announced plans for Harry to take centre stage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Harry first had a cameo role as Eros, also knows as Starfox in 2021’s Eternals.
The singing star made his appearance in a very brief mid-credits scenes but it seems as though he is prepped for an even bigger role next time around.
His character is the brother of villain Thanos in the comic books whilst little else is known about him.
Speaking to Deadline, Nate Moore, an executive at Marvel revealed: “We didn’t cast Harry for a tag. (There’s) more stories to be told with that character.
“He’s a complicated character, but a really fun character.”
Speaking of his brief appearance, Harry told Dazed: “I’m only in right at the very end. But who didn’t grow up wanting to be a superhero, you know?”
The news comes after Marvel insiders told The Sun that the chart topper has deals in place which could lock him into their movie world for at least five films.
LA sources claim that the studio is optioning the former One Direction singer for “as many as five projects”.
This could mean that, if his screen adventures prove box-office successes, his pay package with profit bonuses could be as much as $100m – around £84 million.
An LA film consultant added: “Harry was in Marvel’s sights for the last 18 months.
“Not only is he the biggest pop star of the moment, his star is so huge it transcends just film and music.
“Harry has the midas touch and will be a huge deal bringing in different demographics and showing older comic book fans his talent.
