Anyone who has visited Buck’s Bar in Glasgow will know that a healthy appetite is needed to tackle one of their signature fried chicken burgers.
So, it’s all the more impressive that one very special visitor made a staggering double portion look like a mere snack as he visited the city centre spot today.
The team at Buck’s took to Instagram this evening to document a visit from Tom Stoltman, an Invergordon man who has twice been crowned the ‘World’s Strongest Man’.
Sharing a photo of Tom alongside his mammoth meal they said: “It was a pleasure to welcome The World’s Strongest Man Tom Stoltman to Buck’s West Regent Street for lunch today.
“He made one of our giant burgers look like a slider.
“In fact, he asked for the chef to load it with an extra buttermilk fried chicken breast!
“Who could handle a double Buck’s burger Stoltman Style?”
Fans of the bar were quick to share their shock at how small the strongman made his dish appear with one saying: “The burger box is tiny compared to him, although we all know it’s huge.”
Another added: “That’s not big enough for him.”
