ATMs plan in Airdrie unveiled

TWO ATMs at a bank in Airdrie are to be replaced with a single new machine.

Bank of Scotland has submitted a planning application with North Lanarkshire Council, which details the intended changes at its branch in South Bridge Street.

One machine would be replaced by glazing, creating a new window, while a new machine would be installed in the same position as the current ATM and surrounded by blue window film.

The application claims that due to the nature of the work these proposals do not require advertising or formal planning approval.

In its acknowledgement, the council indicates that any decision should be expected by March 11.

Further information is available on the council’s website using the reference 22/01483/CLP.
