Crash at East Kilbride roundabout being investigated by police

AN investigation has been launched following a crash in East Kilbride.

Cops were called to the Murray Roundabout shortly before 4pm yesterday.

Churchill Avenue was closed to traffic. 

No-one was injured during the two-vehicle collision.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. 

First Glasgow revealed services had to be diverted due to the road closure.

A Police spokesperson said: “Around 3.45pm on Monday, January 2, 2023, police were called to a two-vehicle, believe non-injury, road crash at the Murray Roundabout at the junction with Churchill Avenue, East Kilbride.

“Enquiries are ongoing in relation to the crash.

“The road is re-opened and the vehicles uplifted.”
