A yellow weather warning has been issued for Bolton tomorrow as the UK braces for flooding.

Some 35 flood warnings have been issued across England and Wales after heavy downpours hit parts of the country in the past few days.

There are no warnings in place in Bolton today, and temperatures are expected to reach a high of 7° and a low of 4°.

Light rain is predicted from around 2pm-3pm, followed by some heavy rain from 4pm-5pm, before turning to cloud.

Tomorrow will see heavy rain in Bolton for most of the day, with some light rain towards the end of the day.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 12° and a low of 5°.

During tomorrow’s weather warning, anyone driving is asked to take care when travelling in heavy rain, and to avoid starting the journey if there is heavy downpour.

It will be slightly colder on Wednesday but not too chilly, with temperatures predicted to reach 7°.

Clouds will turn to heavy showers in the afternoon, with a few sunny spells.

Further persistent rain can be anticipated on Thursday, before ending the week with sunshine and showers again on Friday.

As a band of rain pushed eastwards across the UK on Saturday morning, there were 27 flood warnings in England and eight flood warnings in Wales.
